Industrial Gas Springs, Inc., (A member of the IGS Group, founded in 1982 to manufacture high quality gas springs) was established to provide high levels of service through the supply of multiple gas spring solutions, from high volume competitively priced gas springs to specially designed gas springs which have successfully withstood the rigors of being launched and operated in space! Our mission is to be your gas spring partner, a partner who supplies gas springs that meet your technical & economical needs in a timely and professional manner!

To service the needs of customers when time is limited, IGS stocks many thousands of gas springs, struts, and dampers in a range of sizes which can be pressurized, end fitted to specific customer requirements and dispatched within 24 hours. This popular service has been extended and augmented by the addition of gas springs which mix rod and body size for improved performance. When a customer specifies the stroke, extended length, end fittings and force we can assemble and dispatch the finished gas spring within 5 days.

Today, gas springs supplied by IGS range from the world’s first gas springs to have successfully withstood the rigors of being launched and operated in space, to a range of standard gas springs which compete on equal terms with other major suppliers.
